You ever notice that chicken patties look nothing like chicken patties?Have you ever wanted to eat something that doesn't look and taste like a brown hockey puck?Well you're in luck,this is a Real chicken patty recipie.Hope you enjoy and good luck!
Real Chicken Patty
Spice mix
1 1/2 ts salt
1 ts garlic powder
1/2 ts pepper
1/2 ts adobo powder
Dredging flour
3 cups flour
1 tbs salt
1/2 ts pepper
3-5 med chicken breast
Mix up the spice mix and set aside for latter use.Grind 3-5 medium chicken breast or you can buy pre ground.Add the spice mix to the ground chicken and mix in by hand.Measure 3 cups of flour,add 1 tsp salt and 1/2 tsp pepper mix and spread out on plate .Now make baseball sized meat balls from the chicken and place in flour and press down to make a burger sized patty,flip to coat side 2.To cook add about 1/4 in oil to a non stick pan with two tbs of butter.Place pan on med low and allow butter to melt.Cook chicken for about 5 min on both sides or until it reaches an internal temperature of 165.Place in a 200 degree oven to keep warm or serve immediately.
Sauce
2 Chicken bouillon cubes
1 cup water
3 tbs butter
1/2 cup whole milk
Remove oil from pan and add the water and bouillon cubes,allow the cubes to melt and the water to come to a boil.Lightly scrape at the bottom of the pan with a wooden spoon to loosen the brown bits left behind.Add the milk and butter and simmer for five minutes.
